What we are looking for in this role:

Job Summary 

Checks drivers in at window and ensures all required trip documents are submitted by the driver upon completion of each trip. Inspects all submitted documents for completeness and accuracy. Audits and forwards Trip Reports for Fuel/Road taxes to licensing company. Responsible for upkeep of current driver files.  Assists in the qualification process of owner operators by retrieving MVR’s. Responsible for updating all expired documents per TMW Dawg Reports and updates TMW as renewal information is submitted. Assists the Safety Department with data input.   Responsible for the issuing of IRP Apportioned Plates, Temps, Transfers and plate lease contract signing.  Assists with other duties as required.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Make copies of POD’s for any loads not in file
  • Scanning of all trip related documents into Accordex Imaging System
  • Separate scanned documents into designated bins.
  • Collect and audit drivers Trip Reports, forward to Aable Licensing.
  • Review all expirations from Safety; insure all renewals are completed on a timely basis.
  • Update TMW File Maintenance through the use of TMW generated Dawg Report.
  • Assist in Drug & Alcohol testing programs as needed.
  • Assist in Driver Qualification process as needed.
  • Assists in processing and distributing driver paperwork to other functions as needed.
  • Distribute settlements and attachments. 
  • Cross trains on other Admin duties, and functions as back up as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Audit PCheck POD’s match with assigned Load NumbersOD’s for completeness: signature, printed last name, date, time in/out if detention was requested/approved

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • General knowledge of transportation industry.
  • Ability to learn various regulations that apply to the position.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Skill to use a personal computer and various software packages.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
  • Ability to identify, report, and execute on recurring problems.

Credentials and Experience

  • High school degree required
  • Associate degree in a two year college a plus
  • 1-2 years experience in transportation, previous safety experiences a plus. 

Special Requirements

Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested. Flexible to work multiple shifts
