Diesel Mechanic Trainee – Northlake, IL (On-Site Position)

Pay Range: $22.00 – $28.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics in performing preventative maintenance inspections on tractors and trailers.

• Support minor inspections, chassis repairs, and adjustments.

• Learn and apply proper repair procedures under supervision.

• Identify, report, and follow through on recurring issues.

• Perform basic administrative tasks related to repair work.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
